They are seeking a motivated high school student to join their Industrial Engineering team as an apprentice, offering hands-on experience in manufacturing and process improvement.
Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Update and implement changes from engineering modifications
Read and interpret Change Notices, blueprints, and facility layouts
Learn and use AutoCAD, Creo View, JED, and Microsoft Office
Conduct time studies, process mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives
Shadow Industrial & Manufacturing Engineers (IE/ME) and assist with daily production needs
Maintain workplace organization (6S), follow PPE requirements, and support safety/quality improvements
Qualification
Required
Self-motivated with a logical, problem-solving mindset
Strong math, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a team and independently
Punctual, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Planning to pursue a degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field)
Ability to read blueprints/layouts
Problem-solving & critical thinking
Attention to detail
Teamwork & Communication skills
Time management & organization
Preferred
Interest in 2D/3D modeling (AutoCAD, Creo, SolidWorks, etc.)
