Responsibilities
Build, launch, and maintain websites using WordPress, Webflow, and other content management systems (CMS) as needed
Modify site structure, layout, and user interface using standard development tools and platforms
Implement responsive design principles to ensure sites are optimized across devices and browsers
Collaborate with design, marketing, and SEO teams to ensure website projects meet business needs and performance goals
Manage technical updates and ensure site health, including plugin/theme updates, security patches, performance optimization, and version control
Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and errors in a timely manner
Develop clear documentation and maintain version histories for web assets and code
Assist in QA testing to ensure functional performance across applications and browsers
Ensure high standards of accessibility, usability, and SEO best practices are integrated into web solutions
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Website Developer or similar role
Strong proficiency with WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types) and Webflow development
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and how technical implementation can impact search visibility and performance
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and familiarity with front-end frameworks
Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations when necessary
Knowledge of responsive and adaptive design practices
Experience with site analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics / GA4) and SEO tools (e.g., Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred
Experience with additional platforms or frameworks (e.g., Shopify, Gatsby, React)
Familiarity with server environments, DNS, and hosting configurations
Understanding of web performance optimization and caching strategies
Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles
Proficiency in Front-End Development and Web Design, focusing on creating user-friendly interfaces and responsive layouts
Experience with Back-End Web Development and Programming to support seamless functionality and integration
Solid background in Web Development, including knowledge of modern web technologies and frameworks
Problem-solving skills and an ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with SEO best practices for web development is a plus
Experience with e-commerce platforms or CMS (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) is beneficial
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
