Responsibilities
Create, refine, and maintain enterprise data governance standards and best practices
Lead the implementation of data stewardship and data ownership models
Drive data lineage, metadata management, and data quality initiatives
Assess current data maturity and recommend strategic improvements
Develop dashboards, data models, and reporting frameworks (Power BI/Tableau/etc.)
Translate business requirements into technical specifications
Perform data quality analysis and root‑cause investigations
Partner with data engineering to validate pipelines, models, and schemas
Act as liaison between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Conduct training sessions on governance processes and BI best practices
Create clear documentation, including data dictionaries, glossaries, and governance artifacts
Qualification
Required
5-8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Analysis, BI, or related functions
Experience designing or contributing to data governance frameworks
Strong BI tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.)
Strong SQL and relational modeling experience
Experience with metadata management, lineage tools, and data quality remediation
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with Collibra or Alation
Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments
