Responsibilities
Drive the planning and execution of Data/BI governance initiatives, tasks, and deliverables
Drive timely completion of governance activities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives
Proactively identify and resolve issues, mitigating risks before they impact deliverables
Escalate blockers promptly to appropriate forums for resolution
Coach and mentor team members on data governance principles, practices, policies, standards, and deliverables
Drive metadata curation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality within the business glossary
Collect, develop, and implement Data Quality (DQ) rules
Ensure semantic alignment of technical metadata (e.g., column names, data types, lineage, physical storage attributes) with enterprise data domains, preserving business meaning across all abstraction layers
Qualification
Required
8 years of experience in data governance and data management implementations
Experience leading data governance, data management, data quality, and data stewardship collaboration
Strong understanding of DAMA/DMBOK framework
Familiarity with data modeling
Hands-on experience with Collibra Data Governance and Collibra Data Quality tools
Preferred
Prior experience in Delivering Data governance work in Agile set up is a huge plus
