Realty Income Corporation is a publicly-traded global real estate investment trust. The Business Enablement Intern will support the Business Enablement Team in operational initiatives, contributing to projects that enhance efficiency and standardization within the Real Estate Operations department.

Responsibilities

Support the planning and implementation of Real Estate Operations and company‑wide projects

Assist in evaluating and optimizing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and collaborating with team members on solutions to increase productivity

Develop, maintain, and enhance Smartsheet solutions used for reporting and workflow management

Assist in creating and updating training materials and departmental manuals

Support the Tax Appeals process, including client outreach, reporting, and follow‑up on outstanding credits and refunds

Assist with vendor engagement, tenant billing, and collection processes related to ancillary revenue streams (e.g., solar, LED projects)

Provide backup support for critical business functions such as mail routing, utility activation/deactivation, billing, and collections

Participate in regular team meetings to review project status, priorities, and key initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint

Experience with, or the capacity to efficiently develop proficiency in, Smartsheets for reporting and dashboard development

Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders

The ability to work well with others and tackle challenges by focusing on effective solutions

Demonstrates strong integrity and commitment to ethical conduct

Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize work and operate with minimal supervision

Combination of education, training, experience, skills and other characteristics that would provide the requisite knowledge and abilities in support of the essential job functions
