Responsibilities
Basic knowledge and understanding of plans and maps (i.e., construction, site plans, and roadway plans)
Supervise and direct field staff on a variety of standard types of surveys
Train field support staff in the use and application of a GPR, EM Locators, Vacuum Excavation, Data Collectors, and GPS Receivers
Keep, reduce, and check (for completeness and accuracy) field notes for standard SUE and surveying operations
Maintain the calibration of equipment being used
Enforce Company safety procedures and policies for survey field operations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent or specialized vocational training
3+ years of SUE experience
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Work outside for 8-10 hours a day
Ability to walk 2 miles per day
Must submit to a pre-employment drug test and driving record check
Preferred
Knowledge of Trimble equipment and products
Occasional overnight travel to support Florida area projects
