Account Executive

Responsibilities
Meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas by landing and expanding strategic mid-market accounts
Own your pipeline by generating 3x–4x coverage through a mix of inbound lead management and outbound prospecting, leveraging use-case-driven marketing content and case studies
Lead high-value discovery and demo calls, multi-threading across mid-market organizations to help customers understand and realize Chargebee Retention’s value
Clearly articulate Chargebee Retention’s ROI-focused value proposition, while understanding the subscription billing landscape and competitive players
Bring a growth mindset, educating customers on best practices in billing, retention, and revenue recognition as they modernize and scale their businesses
Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, collaborating closely with solutions consultants, internal executives, customer success, and legal/finance teams to drive successful outcomes
Qualification
Required
3+ years of mid-market sales experience, with a strong record of consistently achieving or exceeding quarterly quotas
Demonstrated success selling complex SaaS solutions to C-suite executives and navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles across both technical and business audiences
Strong consultative selling skills, with the ability to uncover customer needs and deliver insights that drive long-term subscription modernization and retention
Relevant domain knowledge in marketing or growth technologies, automation, analytics, AI/ML, CRM, or broader SaaS platforms
Highly adaptable and organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, pre-IPO environment
Demonstrated strength in CRM hygiene, forecasting accuracy, and effective cross-functional collaboration
Ability to influence and lead through credibility, curiosity, creativity, and strong commercial judgment
A proactive, hands-on team player who builds trust across the organization
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time based on business needs
Preferred
Familiarity with Chargebee or other subscription billing systems
Experience in the FinTech space
