Responsibilities

(15%) - Partner with Product & Market Innovations (PMI) team leaders to identify and define opportunities for larger-scale product-related projects
(15%) – In addition PMI-focused work, serve as project manager on assigned strategic/complex for broader commercial market project(s), with overall accountability for successful project completion
(15%) - Drafts and maintains detailed project plans for assigned initiatives
(15%) - Responsible for the resolution of project-related issues which include identifying risks and challenges, responding to inquiries, solving problems, and ensuring documentation of relevant project changes relative to timing, scope or approach
(10%) - Provides project management expertise in support of the overall work of the Product & Market Innovation team and the broader commercial markets team
(10%) - Partners across the HealthPartners organization to ensure project information and status are effectively communicated to appropriate staff and leaders in other relevant areas of the organization
(10%) - Ensures all target timelines and actions items through the implementation process are successfully met
(5%) – Provides excellent customer partnership and service to internal and external customers
(5%) - Be an active and positive participant in the overall activities of the Product & Market Innovations team

Qualification

Commercial health plan knowledgeProject management experienceMicrosoft Office applicationsRelationship managementWritten communication skillsOral communication skillsCollaborative work

Required

Bachelor's degree
5+ years experience in health plan and/or employer benefit-plan development or implementation projects, including large projects/programs; or similar relevant experience
In-depth knowledge and experience of commercial health plan benefits
Demonstrated excellent project management experience
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must be able to work collaboratively with internal departments to achieve organizational goals
Ability to work and maintain excellent working relationships, with internal and external clients
Experienced in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred

Master's level degree such as MBA, MHA, or similar
Relevant project management certification
