Responsibilities
Develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state-of-the-art in generative AI
Impact millions of customers by researching and building innovative solutions using Agentic AI
Work alongside internationally recognized experts in AI/ML
Gain hands-on experience with Amazon’s heterogeneous speech, text, image and structured data sources, and large-scale computing resources
Qualification
Required
PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experience
Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing
Preferred
Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
Proven track record of delivering scalable and high-quality ML solutions (models and infrastructure) in areas such as recommendations, ad ranking, personalization, or search
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership
