FWS Communications Assistant
University of Florida is seeking a FWS Communications Assistant. The role involves updating the department website, creating graphics for social media, and handling photography and videography for department events.

Updating the department website
Creating graphics for the department’s social media channels, video boards and website
Photography and videography of department events
Monitoring news sources for mentions of department faculty and students
Qualification
Required
Must maintain a 2.5-grade point average
Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
Preferred
Demonstrated interest in the communications field and scientific research
Experience with (or the desire to learn) website maintenance using a content management system (CMS)
Basic graphic design experience
Basic photography and photo editing experience
Confident with verbal and written communication
Strong organization skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data accuracy and integrity
Possess effective organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines
