Business Execution Consultant

Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Execution Consultant (Regional Services Consultant) within Consumer, Small & Business Banking (CSBB). This role will support business operations, identify process improvements, and collaborate with leadership to enhance business performance and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work
Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables
Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff
Provide ongoing risk mitigation support for the National Branch Network via in-person and remote visit
Conduct observation, inspection, knowledge check for branches
Consult with branch management and District manager to take action to correct/mitigate operational risks and controls
Supports customer experience by approving large dollar and complex transactions; as well as getting involved in enterprise initiatives
Serves as operational excellence SME for branches and districts that you support

Required

2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Preferred

2+ years of branch banking experience
2 + years of branch banking operations management experience
Understanding of branch compliance controls, risk management and loss prevention
Leadership skills including the ability to coach, train, influence, and develop staff
Demonstrated ability to adapt through change
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Strong influencing skills
Strong conflict resolution skills
Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
Ability to coordinate, lead and facilitate group meetings
Knowledge and understanding of Wells Fargo branch banking systems such as Branch Supervision, Branch Banking Procedures, Operational Risk Reporting, Regional Resource Planning, Customer Experience and Loss Tracking Tool
