Responsibilities

Lead multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout—owning quality, safety, schedule, and financial performance
Build and lead your team: PMs, engineers, superintendents, and field crews
Develop lasting relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners, be the trusted face of Deacon
Partner with preconstruction and business development to pursue and win new work
Coach and develop your people—performance feedback, career growth, and building future leaders
Representing Deacon in the local community through industry involvement and relationship-building

Required

15+ years of progressive construction experience—you've managed large, complex projects (multifamily, commercial, mixed-use)

Strong technical chops: project controls, cost management, scheduling, risk assessment
Clients trust you. Subs respect you. Your reputation precedes you
You know the Vancouver/Portland market (or you're ready to make it your home)
Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field
