Responsibilities
Own and drive large-scale computer vision projects from concept through deployment
Design, develop, and optimize computer vision solutions involving cameras, sensors, and ML-based algorithms
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
Provide technical leadership and hands-on support to engineers at varying skill levels
Support software development from other engineers and contribute to integration efforts
Develop and execute test plans to validate system performance and reliability
Work onsite with hardware systems in a production or lab environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong expertise in Computer Vision, including camera systems and image processing
Experience with machine learning applied to vision systems
Proficiency in Python and C++
Ability to work as a hands-on individual contributor while leading complex projects
Strong understanding of system-level integration (hardware + software)
U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required
Preferred
5–15 years of relevant industry experience
Experience working with laser sensors
Background in robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing
Experience from companies such as: KLA, Google, Meta, Amazon Lab126, Apple
Robotics/automation companies (e.g., KUKA, Universal Robots, Dexterity, Stokes Robotics)
Autonomous Vehicle (AV) companies
Prior ownership of full lifecycle engineering projects
