Responsibilities
Serve as the central point of coordination for the Data Team’s project pipeline, ensuring timely delivery of all initiatives
Coordinate with stakeholders across business units, technology teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and monitor dependencies
Track and manage project milestones, tasks, and deliverables using project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Smartsheet
Maintain and update project documentation, including timelines, status dashboards, risk logs, and action item trackers
Facilitate regular status meetings, updates, and reporting to data leadership and business sponsors
Identify project risks or blockers early and escalate appropriately
Support process optimization and standardization across the Data Team’s operational workflows
Ensure alignment between business priorities and technical execution by keeping all teams informed and in sync
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Management role, preferably within financial services, fintech, or data-driven organizations
Strong familiarity with data project lifecycles, including data warehousing, reporting, data governance, or analytics delivery
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Trello)
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-starter with a consultative mindset and attention to detail
