Responsibilities
Data Exploration and Analysis: Acquire, clean, and analyze complex datasets from a variety of sources using advanced statistical techniques. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform strategic business decisions
Model Development: Build, evaluate, and deploy predictive and prescriptive models. Continuously refine models based on new data and feedback from stakeholders
Business Intelligence & Reporting: Design and create dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports to communicate findings clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, IT professionals, and product teams to understand requirements, deliver insights, and provide data-driven recommendations
Process Improvement: Evaluate existing data processes and recommend enhancements to improve data quality, accessibility, and analysis efficiency
Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies
Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging trends in analytics, machine learning, and data visualization. Mentor junior analysts and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
Qualification
Required
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree – preferably in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Professional certification in data analytics, data science, or related areas (e.g., Certified Analytics Professional, Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate) also considered
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data science roles
Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational databases
Skills in statistical programming languages such as Python or R preferred
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Background in A/B testing, experiment design, and causal inference
Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated ability to apply advanced statistical and analytical methods to solve complex business problems
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to varied audiences
Problem-Solving: Creative thinker with a passion for tackling ambiguous business challenges and generating actionable insights
Project Management: Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Adaptability: Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and adapting to changing business needs
