Responsibilities
Review, draft, and negotiate procurement-related contracts, including SaaS and technology agreements, professional services agreements, MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, and purchase orders
Develop, standardize, and maintain legal terms and conditions for contracts and purchase orders in compliance with US laws and regulatory expectations
Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including intake, execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations
Draft, implement, and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines
Ensure procurement practices align with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory expectations
Identify and mitigate legal, regulatory, and third-party risk related to supplier contracts (e.g., data privacy, cybersecurity, IP, confidentiality, outsourcing)
Partner with Procurement, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Technology teams to support sourcing initiatives and supplier negotiations
Support regulatory reviews, internal audits, and compliance inquiries related to vendor contract
Drive continuous improvement of contract operations, workflows, templates, and governance processes
Track and report KPIs related to contract cycle time, compliance, and operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB or equivalent)
5–8 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, procurement, or a related role
Experience supporting procurement in FinTech, financial services, payments, banking, or regulated technology environments
Strong experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and purchase order terms
Experience writing and maintaining procurement policies and procedures
Strong contract drafting, review, and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of US legal and regulatory requirements impacting vendor contracts
Ability to balance legal risk with commercial and operational priorities
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Preferred
Juris Doctor (JD)
Experience with US regulatory and third-party risk frameworks
Certifications in Contract Management, Procurement, Compliance, or Risk
Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) and procurement systems
