Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with department and project personnel regarding Quality policies and procedures
Assist (if directed by senior Quality management) the Project Manager in developing an orientation program to ensure that the project teams are familiar with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan; including other Quality matters, if required
Act as a Quality auditor ad may follow up on audit findings and corrective actions
Assess (if directed by senior Quality management) the ability of the suppliers to meet the Quality requirements of the project
Assist in the maintenance of project Quality records for all phases of the project
Other duties as assigned

Required

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and five (5) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to nine (9) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Nuclear construction experience required
Ability to obtain and maintain Q clearance if required
Must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship
Previous certification as a Level II electrical and I&C Inspector in accordance with the requirements of ANSI N45.2.6 or ASME NQA-1

Preferred

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in engineering/technical preferred
Level II Qualification/Certification in accordance with ANSI N45.2.6 or ASME NQA-1 in multiple inspection disciplines i.e., welding, coatings, electrical, etc
Experience in the Quality Assurance Audit process
Five (5) years of related Quality/project experience
Moderate interpersonal and communication skills
Moderate leadership and decision-making skills
