VP of Finance
Reach Hospitality is a multi-unit restaurant organization seeking a VP of Finance to lead their financial strategy and performance. This role involves partnering with various departments to optimize unit economics, support growth, and strengthen financial controls while overseeing FP&A, accounting, and treasury functions.

Responsibilities
Serve as strategic finance advisor to the CEO
Lead long-range planning for new unit growth, remodeling, franchising/licensing, and market expansion
Lead analysis of prime costs (food, beverage, labor) and controllable expenses
Partner with Operations to improve restaurant-level profitability
Monitor same-store sales, traffic trends, menu mix, and margin performance
Evaluate pricing strategy, promotions, and menu engineering for profitability impact
Oversee restaurant-level and corporate budgeting and forecasting
Lead weekly and period financial performance reviews
Ensure accurate and timely P&L statements for each unit and consolidated brand results
Establish dashboards to track sales, labor, COGS, and EBITDA performance
Manage cash flow, capital planning, and liquidity
Support site selection, new unit pro formas, and capital investment decisions
Conduct ROI analysis on new restaurants, remodels, technology, and equipment
Partner with Development/Construction on project forecasting and spend management
Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and covenant compliance
Strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud, theft, and cash leakage
Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements
Oversee audits and financial policy development
Manage insurance, claims, and enterprise risk exposure
Oversee finance systems including POS integrations, inventory systems, and AP automation
Improve speed, accuracy, and automation of financial reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required
Experience in restaurant, hospitality, retail, or multi-unit industry required
Deep understanding of restaurant P&L, labor models, and food cost controls
Strong FP&A, forecasting, and capital planning expertise
Demonstrated ability to partner with Operations leaders and General Managers
Experience with POS, inventory, ERP, and financial reporting systems
Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
Preferred
Master's degree or MBA preferred
CPA/CMA preferred
Prior leadership responsibility over multi-site or multi-brand operations strongly preferred
Proven track record in growth environments and/or private equity-backed brands is a plus
