Responsibilities
To lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that align with Marsh’s overall business objectives and drive transformation within the US market
To manage multiple planning phases throughout the planning lifecycle and oversee complex projects from start to finish while engaging with executive level stakeholders
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Create materials for showcasing strategic priorities the team is working on designed for executive level audiences
Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and operational leaders / stakeholders for the various strategic initiatives in Operations and the business
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
Significant experience in strategy development and business planning, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry
Management consulting experience preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies
Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences – especially to senior executive level audiences
Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation abilities
Exceptional Excel and financial analysis abilities
A minimum of 6 years of strategy & planning experience
Preferred
A forward-thinking approach with a passion for driving change and embracing new ideas
A strong focus on achieving measurable outcomes and a history of delivering successful projects on time and within budget
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering a collaborative work environment
Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to pivot strategies in response to changing market conditions or organizational needs
A commitment to developing and mentoring junior team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and improvement
