Responsibilities

Guide, and develop high performing selling individuals
Manage pipelines of sales representatives through individual pipeline reviews and aggregate pipeline to forecast direct revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis
Partner with the team to craft deal strategies that will enable closure of complex sales cycles generating direct and indirect revenue for the business
Continue refining role specific territory management approaches to drive focused and productive efforts within each team members’ territory
Assist the team in addressing and overcoming barriers, including customer consultation and issue elevation
Drive collaboration between internal groups to maximize opportunity as well as supplier adoption
Collaborate with Channel Sales, Supplier Sales, and Marketing to leverage partnerships and influence inbound lead & GTM strategies
Identify key selling trends, partnering with senior management on go forward strategies

Required

Bachelor's degree or combination of equivalent education and relevant experience
5+ years sales experience preferred; quota-carrying sales experience a plus
2+ years of formal management experience strongly preferred; 2+ years minimum informal leadership experience required with a proven history of coaching, mentoring, and leading others
Proven success developing individual contributors and demonstrated experience working through others to complete work and resolve issues
Proven competence with Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com

Preferred

Leadership experience or SPS Retail/Community experience preferred
Retail supply chain experience and/or EDI background highly desired
