Responsibilities

Performs various duties including creating and/or developing mechanical manufacturing work instructions
Determines the sequence of build, selecting or designing required tools, and solves production problems during the build of mechanical piece parts and assemblies
Assists in investigating design/manufacturing factors such as equipment or part availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and large assembly management
Develops and maintains all assembly documentation
Troubleshoot/correct anomalies and discrepant hardware
Performs producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability
Routinely interfaces with program personnel and reports project status to leadership
Ability to work Sunday through Thursday is required for this role

Required

Bachelor's degree (Mechanical/Aerospace/ Electrical/Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering preferred)
Knowledge of production manufacturing and assembly processes
Experienced in the review of engineering drawings
Strong written communication including technical writing
Ability to read, analyze and interpret various technical procedures and reports
Advanced Skills in the Microsoft Office software suite
Willingness and ability to work alternative shifts to include 2nd and split shifts
Ability to work Sunday through Thursday is required for this role
