Responsibilities
Lead and execute integration, regression, and functional testing for complex, highly integrated systems
Develop and maintain expert-level test plans, test strategies, and documentation aligned with established testing standards
Analyze functional and technical requirements to design comprehensive manual and automated test cases
Coordinate and perform System Integration Testing (SIT) activities across cross-functional teams
Design automation-ready test cases and develop, execute, and troubleshoot complex automated test scripts
Build and maintain automation using approved DevSecOps and low-code automation frameworks
Integrate test automation artifacts into CI/CD pipelines and ensure audit traceability within Azure DevOps
Perform advanced root cause analysis for defects; document findings and partner with developers on resolution
Track, prioritize, and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to testing peers on advanced testing and automation practices
Participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies, sizing, estimation, and release planning
Identify testing process, data, and technology improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
Communicate testing progress, risks, blockers, and results clearly to technical and business stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of experience in enterprise technology testing, with deep expertise in complex systems
Expert knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/SAFe frameworks
Strong experience with test management tools such as Azure Boards, Azure Test Plans, or Micro Focus ALM
Advanced experience with test automation tools and frameworks, including UFT, Selenium, low-code automation, and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in API testing (e.g., Postman)
Working knowledge of databases and SQL for test validation
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills
Ability to work independently and lead within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced-level certifications (Test Analyst, Agile Tester, Test Manager, Test Automation Engineer)
DevOps Institute DevOps Foundation (DOFD) certification
Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of DevSecOps testing practices
Experience testing mainframe, on-premise, and cloud-based systems
SAFe certification (Leading SAFe)
AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (preferred)
