$22/hr - $24/hrBXP, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern to assist with Engineering and Operations activities for assets within the Boston Region portfolio. The intern will support various tasks including data analysis, work order management, KPI tracking, and project support.

Responsibilities
Assist in collecting and analyzing building performance data (energy consumption, HVAC performance, water usage, etc.)
Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights to engineering and management teams
Assist in benchmarking building performance against industry standards and best practices
Analyze data related to preventative maintenance schedules
Assist in the management of computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data
Support the processing and tracking of work orders, ensuring timely completion
Assist in the integration of CMMS with building automation systems (BAS)
Help to analyze work order data to identify trends and areas for improvement
Assist in the auditing of work orders, to ensure proper completion, and data entry
Assist in the development and tracking of KPIs related to building operations and maintenance
Monitor building systems performance and identify potential issues
Support the implementation of energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Assist in the creation of KPI dashboards
Assist in the inspection and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
Support the implementation of building automation system (BAS) improvements
Assist in conducting site inspections and documenting building conditions
Assist in the review of construction drawings and specifications
Assist engineering teams with capital improvement projects
Support the coordination of vendor activities
Assist in the documentation of project progress
Assist in the gathering of information for project budgeting
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a BA/BS degree program required
Ability to confidently interact with co-workers, contractors, clients, or vendors in an articulate, courteous, and business-like manner at all times
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Effective problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organization and multi-task management skills
Preferred
Completion of college education through junior year preferred
One year of prior summer work experience preferred
Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft office preferred
Valid driver's license preferred
