Responsibilities

Learns how to interpret and evaluate all physician medication, IV admixture and TPN orders

Learns the appropriate process used in dispensing controlled substances as required by local, state, and federal laws and the standards as it pertains to the standards of good pharmacy practice

Learns how to appropriately compound and dispense medications from the pharmacy

Gains experience in clinical activities performed by the department under the supervision of the clinical manager

Becomes familiar with automated systems used in the pharmacy

Current enrollment in an accredited school of pharmacy in good academic standing
