They are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician responsible for monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications while supporting food safety and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Monitor production lines to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications

Verify cleanliness and sanitation of equipment post-cleaning

Perform and document monitoring activities for Critical Control Points (CCPs), such as metal detection

Identify and report non-conforming products or processes; assist with corrective actions

Maintain accurate, timely quality records and documentation

Communicate with Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to resolve quality issues

Assist in training production employees on quality and food safety expectations

Participate in GMP, SOP, HACCP, and SQF training sessions and apply best practices on the floor

Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or quality assurance required

Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and basic quality testing procedures

Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records

Effective communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

Preferred

College coursework in Food Science or related field preferred
