Responsibilities
Provides support for special projects and assignments. Researches, analyzes, and summarizes information and source materials for reports. Prepares data on projects and studies, such as updating procedure manuals or analyzing department activities
Supports clinic management with ordering clinical and clerical supplies
Enters complex patient data into the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Date base for blood and marrow transplant and cellular therapy patients with 98% accuracy
Adheres to UMMC standards of service excellence
Assists clinical management with a variety of clinical and financial reports to support clinical operations
Qualification
Required
AA Degree required
One (1) year's ambulatory or private practice experience required
Effective oral and written communication skills are required to work successfully with a diverse group of people at various position levels inside and outside of the organization
High level of organizational skills and the ability to complete tasks under strict timelines is required
Preferred
Two to three (2-3) years of office experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and/or Electronic Medical Records is preferred
Experience in a healthcare setting with revenue cycle activities preferred
