Airframe Structural Design Engineer - Level 3
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Airframe Structures Design Engineer for the Advanced Development Programs. The role involves applying technical expertise to develop solutions for aircraft structural design problems, including creation and modification of structural parts and coordination with Integrated Product Teams.

Responsibilities
Creation and/or modification of primary and secondary structural parts, assemblies, installations, and interface control models/documents
Contributing to developing, testing, and validating aircraft structural designs
Assisting in creating system requirements, trade studies, statements of work, and test plans
Coordination with internal Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), with some interaction with external IPTs and suppliers
Qualification
Required
More than 5 years experience in aerospace vehicle development
Experience with Fibersim or 3DX composites design workbench
Experience with metallic and composite design
Experience with 3D model based design definition
Experience with determinant structural assembly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
A US-DoD classified secret clearance
