Supply Chain Director

SoTalent is seeking an experienced Director, Supply Chain Production, Hub to oversee end-to-end material flow and operational planning within a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role provides both strategic leadership and hands-on direction across procurement, warehousing, internal logistics, and short-term planning, ensuring materials and labor are aligned to meet production and service requirements safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage procurement, warehousing, internal material flow, and short-term planning functions
Ensure accurate material planning, supplier ordering, and on-time delivery
Oversee warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and handling of food and non-food materials in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Manage internal inventory flow, replenishment cycles, and order processes
Coordinate short-term labor planning in alignment with forecasted volumes and production schedules
Partner with operational teams to meet internal service and production requirements
Drive continuous improvement, lean initiatives, and operational excellence programs
Implement and sustain standardized forecasting, planning, and material processes
Own departmental KPIs and lead performance reviews and improvement actions
Manage financial performance including labor, materials, operating costs, and capital planning
Monitor operational performance, analyze incidents, and deliver actionable insights
Support audits and ensure compliance with food safety, health, and regulatory standards
Lead, coach, and develop managers and supervisors, fostering a high-performance culture
Act as a subject-matter expert supporting site-wide initiatives and leadership objectives

Required

5+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics within a manufacturing or production environment
5+ years of experience leading large teams (100+ employees)
Experience supporting change management and transformation initiatives
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills
Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven mindset
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
ERP system experience (e.g., SAP) at an advanced or key-user level

Preferred

Background in continuous improvement or process optimization
Experience in regulated environments such as food safety, health & safety, or high-security operations
Advanced education or specialization in supply chain or logistics
