Build core product functionality across frontend and backend
Design and implement clean APIs and service boundaries
Work directly with product and design - no hand-offs
Implement ML-powered features inside real production workflows
Shape early architecture, tooling, and engineering standards
Ship frequently, iterate based on real usage, and scale what works
Be one of the people who defines how engineering is done
Qualification
Required
Must be based in NYC & role requires US citizenship due to regulatory constraints
You're a strong fullstack engineer first, who is comfortable owning production systems and integrating ML where it actually adds leverage
Think clearly under ambiguity
Simplify complex problems into clean systems
Connect product intent to technical reality
Don't wait for permission to take ownership
Have shipped real projects that mattered - solo or on a team
Can write clean, modern frontend in React and TypeScript
