Associate Program Director Center for Student Involvement

They are seeking an Associate Program Director for the Center for Student Involvement to develop and lead advising and support services for student organizations, while overseeing budget and staff management.

Responsibilities
Develop, lead, and maintain advising and support services for all affiliated student organizations
Facilitate new club creation and annual club renewal
Advise student organization leaders and oversee equipment checkout
Manage facilities and develop risk mitigation strategies documents and training
Create professional development curriculum for student organization leaders and potential leaders
Hire, direct, schedule, evaluate, train, discipline, and manage the activities of officers of administration, classified staff, student employees, interns, and volunteers
Serve as program lead in the absence of the Program Director or at their request
Qualification
Required
Master's degree
Three years of professional experience in with student organizations and/or managing student programs and services in a higher education setting, OR five years of relevant experience in a related field of higher education
One year of experience supervising professional staff
One year of professional experience in event planning and execution
One year of professional budget management experience
Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship building skills to engage a diverse audience
Excellent presentation and public relation skills. Ability to give public presentations and adjust communication for diverse audiences
Knowledge of and experience with risk evaluation and mitigation strategies as they relate to student organization activities
Ability to create workshops, presentations, tutorials, informational documents, and other training tools for primarily a college student audience
Ability to deal with crises and manage sensitive information
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines effectively
Demonstrated experience with and/or commitment to working effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, in support of an inclusive and welcoming environment
Preferred
Master's degree in student affairs, educational leadership, higher education administration, college student personnel, or related field
Knowledge of and experience with risk evaluation and mitigation strategies as they relate to student organization activities
Strong understanding of student development theories
Experience with creating workshops, presentations, tutorials, informational documents, and other training tools
