Scottsdale Management Fellow
The City of Scottsdale is offering a paid full-time Scottsdale Management Fellowship for graduate students and recent graduates looking to gain experience in local government. The fellowship focuses on city management and provides hands-on experience through project work with city leaders, along with mentoring opportunities.

Responsibilities
Work directly with city leaders on relevant projects
Receive one-on-one mentoring with City Manager staff on management skills and career opportunities
Qualification
Required
Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated within a year from an accredited college or university degree program in a field related to the department in which assigned
Depending on assignment, must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date
Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work
Preferred
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the past year) from a graduate-level program
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated interest in local government management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Commitment to learning and professional growth
