Accounting Consultant

As an Accounting Consultant, you will support internal stakeholders in the month-end close process, account analysis, and cash transactions while implementing process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Very hands -on accounting support
Assist with Payables, account reconciliations, record cash transactions, misc. account analysis, etc
Very manual, rather simple environment
Able to document basic desk top accounting procedures
Strong interpersonal skills able work in a very mission based religious organization
Affiliation is NOT required
Identify and implement process improvements and enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required
3 – 7 years of related experience
Experience with MS Office technical skills, specifically with MS Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills, with a strong orientation to client service, time management, and project delivery
Preferred
CPA, CMA, CIA or CFE preferred
