Responsibilities
Drive new business development by identifying, pitching, and closing strategic Financial Services advertisers
Own senior-level relationships with key clients and agencies; position Business Insider as a core brand partner
Develop and sell custom, integrated advertising solutions across Branded Content, Display, Video, Programmatic, Podcasts, Data, and Live/Virtual Events
Create and execute strategic account plans to hit or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets
Act as an external and internal evangelist for Business Insider’s value proposition in a crowded media landscape
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Client Services, Media Planning, and Studio teams to deliver high-impact campaigns
Educate and inspire clients through a brand-led sales approach, moving beyond transactional media buys
Represent Business Insider at industry events and client meetings as a brand ambassador
Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce
Qualification
Required
Proven track record of closing new business and growing revenue within Financial Services advertising
Strong network across financial brands and media agencies
Deep understanding of digital media sales, including custom content, audience-based programs, and programmatic
Ability to translate client business goals into compelling, data-driven marketing solutions
Strategic, consultative selling mindset with strong negotiation and presentation skills
Passion for storytelling, media, technology, and the art of the sale
Comfort navigating named accounts, uncovering marketing strategies, and closing complex deals
