Engineer - Tier 2 & 3 Support Engineer

Responsibilities
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 virtual support to the organization's end users
Support software, hardware, warehouse technology, server, network, and enterprise systems issues
Respond to escalated issues from the IT Service Center and Tier 2 Support
Resolve user requests through discussions with users, coordination with internal and external resources, research via access to source code and access to an application database
Provide education and trainings to users to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent problem reoccurrence
Maintain support related documentation for certain end user platforms, monitors environments, responds to alerts, and addresses service outages
Qualification
Required
Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 virtual support to the organization's end users

Applies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects
Some experience in the following: Software development (preferably Java/SpringBoot); Querying SQL databases for research and support related functions; Application monitoring and alerting (Dynatrace, GCP)
May contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Works on complex projects of large scope
Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives
Completes work; independently receives general guidance on new projects
Work reviewed for purpose of meeting objectives
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
Preferred
4-8 years of experience
Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
