$40/hr - $50/hrMetasys Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst – Accounting to support the review and management of utility-related contracts. This role focuses on ensuring financial accuracy and compliance, validating billing, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities
Review utility service agreements and vendor contracts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms
Validate invoices and payments against contract pricing, rate structures, and service terms
Perform basic variance analysis to identify differences between expected and actual costs
Prepare summaries and reports of financial data for internal stakeholders
Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements
Improve productivity by supporting automation of accounting processes and coordinating data and reporting requirements
Prepare and record journal entries and perform account reconciliations as needed to support accurate financial reporting, including assigned external customer accounts
Support audits and internal reviews by providing documentation and analysis as required
Perform additional related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data management or accounting systems
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work with numerical data
