Responsibilities
Build consultative partnerships with small business owners by understanding their goals and delivering value-driven financial solutions
Manage and grow an existing portfolio while proactively developing new commercial relationships
Collaborate closely with a high-performing business banking team to deliver comprehensive product solutions that enhance customer experience, loyalty, and profitability
Complete structured onboarding and credit training programs to develop strong lending risk assessment and mitigation capabilities
Maintain deep knowledge of local market dynamics and cultivate relationships with key referral partners such as CPAs and attorneys
Actively participate in community and networking activities to expand market presence and prospect pipelines
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in business banking, commercial lending, or a comparable relationship management role
Proven success in business-to-business sales and relationship development
Self-driven, goal-oriented professional with demonstrated leadership potential
Strong ability to collaborate in a team-based, performance-focused environment
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced sales culture with measurable goals across loans, deposits, cross-sell, and customer satisfaction
Solid understanding of business banking products and services
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a relationship-first mindset
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience required
