Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers in assigned territory through various means including cold calls, networking events, trade shows, and digital outreach
Sales Presentations & Meetings: Conduct product presentations, demos, and sales meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions
Relationship Building: Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and offering ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention
Market Research: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to effectively position the company's offerings and identify growth opportunities
Negotiation & Closing: Lead the negotiation process and close deals in a timely manner while ensuring that terms align with the company’s goals and profitability
Sales Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of all client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM. Provide regular updates and sales forecasts to management
Collaboration: Work closely with the internal teams (e.g., marketing, product, customer service) to ensure that the customer experience is seamless and positive
Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs to contribute to the overall success of the sales department

Required

Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative, Business Development Representative, or similar role, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Proficiency in CRM software and Google Suite
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
Strong knowledge of the industry and competitive landscape
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed
