Responsibilities
Perform complex mechanical engineering assignments requiring strong technical expertise
Plan, organize, and execute technical design projects
Lead the design and development of new or improved products, equipment, and processes
Select concepts and approaches to improve performance, quality, and manufacturability
Conduct and present design reviews for major projects
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, designers, and technicians
Create and release 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bills of Materials following established release processes
Support implementation of designs into manufacturing
Adhere to safety procedures and plant requirements
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, product development, and manufacturing processes
Experience creating and modifying 3D models, 2D drawings, and technical documentation
Familiarity with plant operations and safety standards
Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred
Project management experience
Professional certification or ability to obtain within one year
Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
