Responsibilities

Duties include teaching courses in the Electronics-Robotics Technology (Mechatronics) program with emphasis in: Digital and analog electronics and robotics, mechanical and electronic devices and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, quality control, 3D printing, and AutoCad
Abide by state statutes, school board policies and regulations
Attend meetings and perform duties as assigned by administrators or supervisors
Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation
Serve on committees as assigned
Remain current on instructional practices in education. (e.g. instructional technology)

Required

Must hold proper state CTE certification
Proof of appropriate occupationally related experience
Ability to plan and design instruction based on real world applications
Certification for the position is based on occupational experience and/or educational background
Additional coursework will be required for individuals with occupational experience only
