Responsibilities
Hardware Deployment: Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks, and peripherals (printers, scanners, mobile devices) according to departmental standards
Incident Management: Identify, log, and resolve technical software and network problems using corporate call-logging systems
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on installed systems and participate in OS migrations (e.g., Windows upgrades)
Optimization: Propose system improvements and potential changes to senior leadership to enhance infrastructure efficiency
Reporting & Documentation: Document technical issues clearly for clients and maintain up-to-date activity records in client databases
SLA Compliance: Ensure all tasks are completed within agreed-upon timelines and service levels
Qualification
Required
4–6+ years of professional experience in Desktop Management and Infrastructure Services
Proficiency in PC hardware builds, telephony, and wireless network troubleshooting
Hands-on experience migrating systems across Windows platforms
Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical clients and provide guidance to colleagues
Preferred
Experience with software packaging, quality assurance testing in customer environments, and distribution tools
Experience performing monthly patching and ensuring 100% security compliance
Familiarity with scheduling software distribution to target audiences and remediation of unsuccessful endpoints
Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
