Responsibilities

Negotiate and purchase traditional media (TV, cable, radio, print, and out-of-home) and select digital/streaming placements with direction from Paid Media Manager
Monitor campaign performance and analyze key metrics (CPMs, reach, frequency, etc.). Provide recommendations to optimize media buys and ensure campaigns meet or exceed client benchmarks
Respond promptly to media vendor inquiries, approvals, and requests to ensure campaigns run smoothly and on schedule
Ensure creative assets are properly trafficked, scheduled, and delivered across channels, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
Reconcile invoices and ensure they align with planned budgets
Stay current on industry trends, platform updates, and new product offerings
Collaborates with peers; Supports in training for new hires at coordinator level

Required

3+ years of media buying experience (agency or client-side) with a proven track record of managing cross-channel campaigns
Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, or Communications preferred
Proficient with media buying platforms such as Freewheel (Strata/SBMS), Comscore TV, and Nielsen measurement data
Solid experience buying media across TV, radio, outdoor, and print
Skilled at managing and optimizing large media budgets to drive measurable results
Data-driven approach to evaluating proposals, campaign performance, and media strategies
Confident in securing strong placements, rates, and added value while pushing back on proposals when needed
Builds and sustains positive vendor partnerships while holding media partners accountable to client goals
Thrives in fast-paced environments, pivoting strategies and troubleshooting challenges quickly
Works collaboratively and steps in to help teammates; Able to work across departments
Passion for staying ahead of industry trends, new platforms, and emerging media channels
