The role involves delivering a planned maintenance service to all plant and equipment within the board’s hospitals, adhering to relevant legislation standards.

Responsibilities

To provide electrical services to meet the needs of the board healthcare facilities to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patient care through the delivery of a planned maintenance, repair and installations service which always represents quality and value for money

To provide a safe maintenance service to all plant, equipment and service infrastructure within the board’s hospitals and premises ensuring delivery of all works to relevant legislation standards incorporating STHM 06 01 Parts A & B, 06-01 & 06-03

The post holder will be assisting in the development of the estates function into a customer focused range of services, leading a flexible, integrated approach to the delivery of estates services

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post
