Project Management Manager (Encroachment)
Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Manager for their Encroachment team. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the timely execution of encroachment inquiries and projects while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professional and administrative personnel
Enhance team capabilities by improving processes, standards, and procedures
Hold team members accountable for performance and project delivery
Provide training and oversight to ensure consistent application of Project Management methodologies
Oversee the processing and completion of encroachment inquiries assigned to the team
Manage a minimum of two encroachment projects annually, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, and regulatory requirements
Lead permitting and right-of-way (ROW) activities for assigned encroachment projects
Review and approve all project estimates generated by the team
Promote open, continuous communication between external encroachment entities and the Kinder Morgan Encroachment team
Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to support business objectives and maintain alignment
Participate in the annual Natural Gas budgeting process
Lead special initiatives aimed at streamlining and improving company processes and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of Project Management and/or Engineering experience within the Oil and Gas industry
Demonstrated experience managing multiple professional and administrative personnel
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
Possess and maintain valid driver's license and be insurable by company's insurance carrier
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
Proven ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and drive implementation
Skilled in building cohesive working relationships across departments
Ability to develop, review, and evaluate project plans and cost estimates
Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities in a project management environment
Competency in contract negotiation and conflict resolution
Self-directed, organized, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
Strong attention to detail and adherence to company policies and procedures
Commitment to safety for personnel, company assets, and the public
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience in pipeline-related Project Management
Experience in natural gas pipeline operations
Experience with Microsoft or equivalent scheduling software
