New Grad, Entry LevelKelly Engineering is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join a long-term team in Seadrift, Texas. The Planner will be responsible for creating job packages from work order scopes to ensure safe, effective, and efficient execution of maintenance work.

Responsibilities
Spends time in field to accurately assess and plan repair work that is not archived
Streamlines plans to safely and effectively perform repairs
Creates job packages with all the necessary documents as determined by Best Practice
Actively participates and leverages within the Turnaround Team
Utilizes Internet search capabilities to locate and identify spare parts for ordering
Works with site Materials Management Department for ordering parts
Initiates work requests as needed
Fulfills Global Turnaround Work Process role as required
Initiates & participates in Root Cause Investigations
Coaches and trains others on planning; able and willing to share knowledge for betterment of the team
Uses good verbal and written communications skills
Must have strong computer skills as a great deal of plant communication occurs via Dow workstations
Identifies opportunities for planning optimization
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate or GED
Good interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal
Prior planning experience a plus; working in an industrial / chemical plant environment
Must be willing to work overtime as dictated by turnaround activities
