Responsibilities

Carries out tasks assigned by the Project Lead and engineering team

Develops working drawings for civil design plans in AutoCAD Civil 3D (grading, drainage, utility, stormwater management and street frontage improvements) from sketches

Uses engineering judgment to perform duties and knows when to ask questions, seek assistance or perform independent research

Manages personal time allotted to various tasks in order to meet obligations of one or more projects, including budget, quality and schedule

Provide accurate design of on-site and off-site improvements for the planning and construction of commercial, industrial, and/or high-density residential projects that are ready for construction

Can provide accurate design of grading, drainage, utilities and stormwater treatment with minimal input from engineer of record

Performs civil engineering calculations, SWPPP’s and other engineering reports

Effectively interacts with peers, clients, and sub-consultants

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent level of experience (2025-2026 Graduates are welcome to apply)

0-5 years of experience in land development

General knowledge of computers, Microsoft office, Adobe, Internet applications, etc

Preferred

Engineering in training (EIT) or scheduled to sit for exam is preferred

Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam, preferred

Additional software experience a plus, e.g., Agtek, Hydrology/Hydraulic Software
