Strategic Support Program Manager

Responsibilities
Coordinate, monitor, and administer the programs for strategic business growth projects
This includes program development and implementation, program reviews, analysis, evaluation, trending, and reporting issues to leadership
Coordinate and administer programs ensuring alignment with human performance initiatives and current approaches for human factoring for programs within responsibility scope
Establish priorities, set schedules and due dates and maintain general knowledge of all aspects in areas of responsibility, including broad knowledge base of technologies and industry trends
Recommend changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency
Provide oversight, leadership, and coordination, functioning as the Subject Matter Expert (Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records)
This includes program development, program planning, and scheduling and control of activities and implementation with minimal oversight and direction
Develop and maintain guiding documents, including procedures and instructions
Interface with and provide expertise and input to the leadership team and staff (Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records) to ensure successful implementation
Ensure timely submittals of documentation
Provide metrics as requested in the areas (Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records)
Interface with outside agencies (e.g., Washington State and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission) in the conduct of day-to-day work as well as special assessments and inspections
Lead teams of greater than 10 people or across multiple work groups when implementing small projects for programs within responsibility scope where the project may be complex, multidiscipline where strong leadership is required
Direct activities of the team, monitoring project progress
Coach or mentor other program managers and acts for supervisor/manager when required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in education, business, or a technical field from an accredited college or university and at least 12 years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial or similar facility, two of which are in the areas of Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
OR an Associate degree from an accredited college or university and at least 14 years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial, or similar facility, two of which are in the areas Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
OR a High school diploma or GED and at least 16 years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial or similar facility, two of which are in the areas of Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
Bachelor's degree in education, business, or a technical field from an accredited college or university and at least seven years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial or similar facility, 2 of which are in the areas of Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
OR an Associate degree from an accredited college or university and at least nine years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial, or similar facility, 2 of which are in the areas Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
OR a High school diploma or GED and at least eleven years of experience in a nuclear environment or at a commercial power, industrial or similar facility, 2 of which are in the areas of Corrective Action/Performance Improvement/Lessons Learned OR Procedures/Documents/Records
