The Technical Manager – GSY will be the technical lead responsible for promoting a dedicated portfolio of geosynthetic solutions, managing industry approvals, and providing technical support for project applications.

Responsibilities
Lead technical support and activities in collaboration with business development and commercial sales team members
Develop and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders including industry experts, engineers, DOTs, and regulatory agencies
Represent the company at various associations, industry groups, and technical forums/committees to advocate for assigned product lines, including but not limited to ASCE, TRB, GMA, ASTM, etc
Manage and support NTPEP / AASHTO / DOT product evaluation processes for regional adoption and approval
Coordinate and deliver technical designs (preliminary and final) in collaboration with external partners
Promote and support software tools relevant to product design, ensuring client adoption and effective use
Provide estimating assistance for high-level projects/value-engineering opportunities including budgetary quotes
Support and maintain State & Provincial DOT approvals, while also driving new evaluations and inclusion
Present technical content at trade shows, conferences, and professional seminars; and some select lunch and learns
Lead research as needed and write papers, articles, journals, etc to promote and advance strategic applications and solutions
Qualification
Required
Technical leadership experience in geosynthetics or related field
Experience in project support and technical committees
Ability to manage industry approvals and design support
Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal sales teams and external stakeholders
Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with technical stakeholders including engineers and regulatory agencies
Ability to represent the company at industry associations and technical forums
Experience in managing product evaluation processes with NTPEP / AASHTO / DOT
Proficiency in delivering technical designs in collaboration with external partners
Experience in promoting and supporting software tools relevant to product design
Ability to provide estimating assistance for high-level projects
Experience in maintaining State & Provincial DOT approvals
Ability to present technical content at trade shows and conferences
Experience in conducting research and writing technical papers or articles
