TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Lounge Bartender who plays a vital role in guest satisfaction at the bar. The Bartender will utilize mixology skills and customer service abilities to provide an outstanding experience for guests while preparing and serving a variety of beverages.

Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation: Skillfully mix and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, while adhering to established recipes and standards

Menu Knowledge: Possess an in-depth knowledge of the drink menu, including ingredients, flavor profiles, and presentation. Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences

Customer Interaction: Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner. Take drink orders, offer suggestions, and provide a personalized experience

Presentation: Ensure drinks are visually appealing and well-presented, using garnishes and glassware appropriately to enhance the overall drink experience

Bar Setup and Maintenance: Prepare the bar area for service, ensuring that all necessary tools, ingredients, and supplies are available. Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the shift

Cash Handling: Process payment transactions accurately, manage tabs, and handle cash and credit card transactions. Maintain an organized cash register and provide accurate change

Entertainment and Engagement: Provide entertainment and engage with customers by offering recommendations and creating a lively atmosphere. Tend to guests at the bar, making them feel welcomed and valued

Inventory Management: Monitor and manage beverage inventory, restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management. Assist with inventory counts and ordering

Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and consumption of alcohol. Verify customer age and refuse service to underage or intoxicated individuals

Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
