Lockheed Martin is seeking a Project Engineer to support activities at the F-35 Integrated Test Force at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. The role involves oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the lifecycle of assigned projects, as well as collaboration with various disciplines and organizations to ensure successful execution of tasks.

Responsibilities

Oversight of cost, schedule, and technical performance throughout the lifecycle of the projects assigned

Gain working knowledge and experience in EVMS and CAM tools and techniques, including program baselining, variance explanations, and ETC updates and justifications

Support development of cost estimates and related documentation including Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Statements of Work (SOWs), requests for proposals, and ROMs for future tasks

Support special projects and initiatives as required

Collaborate with diverse disciplines and organizations across ITF at multiple locations/sites to include LM Aero, multiple other LM business units, suppliers, and the customer

Ensure activities are well coordinated and successfully executed within budget and on-schedule

Required

Must be a US Citizen

Experience in data analysis and strong attention to detail is required

Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse disciplines and organizations across ITF at multiple locations/sites

Capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Ensure activities are well coordinated and successfully executed within budget and on-schedule

Preferred

Experience with earned value management - working knowledge of LM Aero and F-35 EVMS processes and tools

Experience with developing cost estimates, Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)

Previous experience and familiarity with flight test activities are desired
