Responsibilities

Provide first- and second-level support for troubleshooting, fault analysis, and error investigations in coordination with Head Quarters Engineering?
Serve as a liaison with the Global Engineering team for all engineering-related matters?
Perform remote fault analysis and error investigations?
Lead and support technical root cause analysis for component failures?
Stay current with industry advancements by attending relevant workshops and training sessions?
Support the supply chain team by identifying qualified vendors for turbine components in the U.S
Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to achieve internal cost-reduction targets
Assist with SCADA-related tasks in collaboration with Head Qaurter Engineering
Prepare repair reports to ensure processes, materials, and quality standards align with Deutsche Windtechnik’s guidelines
Analyze fleet performance data to optimize turbine performance and increase the mean time between failures
Develop, maintain, and update repair work instructions for use at U.S. sites

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, certified Industrial Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or similar
At least 3 years wind technical experiences
Able to quickly adapt to different technical situations by using technical documentation, schematics or self-gathered information due to investigation and system reviews
Strong knowledge of system design
Ability to understand complex electrical systems and functions by reading circuit diagrams and/or schematics
Valid driving license
Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with field technicians or engineering colleagues
Experience handling customer communication
Able to pass a physical exam and drug/alcohol screening
Employees who climb wind turbines may not exceed a maximum personal body weight of 260 lbs
